Apply for Age-Inclusive Telehealth Awards
Submissions are now open for the first Age-Inclusive Telehealth Innovative Practice Award. The award will recognize health care groups, clinical practices, and organizations that have implemented innovative telehealth practices to improve the care of older adults. Submissions are due May 26, 2023.
The Center of Excellence for Telehealth and Aging (CE4TA), which was established to advance the adoption of age-inclusive telehealth, is leading this new award program.
CE4TA is a partnership of West Health Institute (WHI), the University of Virginia (UVA) Department of Geriatrics, and the Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center (MATRC). These partners also formed a collaborative of experts, the Collaborative for Telehealth and Aging (C4TA), to explore issues involved in using telehealth to serve older adults. LeadingAge is a C4TA member.
