LeadingAge has continued the fight against COVID and found new ways to partner and provide critical resources to members. Follow the story on the range of resources, initiatives, and partnerships we’ve developed in true collaboration for members. Below are highlights of partnerships that provided grant opportunities to LeadingAge members.

• We Can Do This Campaign

  In partnership with HHS and the We Can Do This campaign, LeadingAge has awarded more than $270,000 in grant funding to members for vaccine clinics to help increase vaccine and booster uptake in residents, family members, staff, and the local community.

• Vaccine Equity and Access Program

  Through the creation of English- and Spanish-speaker grassroots materials and communications and partnership tools, as well as distribution of $80,000 in grants to members, the CDC-Funded Community Catalyst and the Vaccine Equity and Access Program (VEAP) partnership raises awareness and access to vaccines among older adults and the people who care for them, particularly in communities of color.

LeadingAge’s expanding partnership with the U.S. departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Health & Human Services (HHS) provides communities nationwide access to COVID-19 test kits free of charge.
