LeadingAge members are a community of like-minded peers and partners in aging services organizations. Members from across the country connect in a variety of ways, including through our online member community, member conference calls and webinars, and advisory groups and networks.

Member Networks
LeadingAge provider members have an opportunity to come together with peers and colleagues with similar interests. National staff members convene and organize these groups, which are open to all members. Many networks hold virtual meetings on a monthly basis, with agendas developed and informed by participants on issues that are relevant to them. Summaries of network meetings may be shared with network members.
Adult Day and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Network
Staff of LeadingAge members who provide adult day services, meals, personal care, transportation, and other HCBS will meet monthly to discuss and provide input on policy, regulations, operations, quality, reimbursement, and workforce. The Network will sometimes feature an outside speaker and always have a topic for discussion on trending news. The group is open to anyone who works at a LeadingAge member organization interested in discussing home and community-based services and Medicaid waiver/state plan services, and more than one member of any organization is welcome to participate.

Assisted Living Network
The Assisted Living Network meetings feature discussions on current hot topics of interest to assisted living providers. The AL Network fosters member discussions and connections on emerging and perennial issues, and members are encouraged to suggest future topics that will be of interest to members. We encourage members to share their best practices or state developments on assisted living policy.

Continuing Care at Home Network
This member-led group welcomes all LeadingAge members who currently operate, or who are interested in learning more about starting a Continuing Care at Home program. Members rotate host duties, and meeting details are posted in the CC@H Member Community. This group also hosts CC@H conferences twice each year, as well as offers learning sessions at national LeadingAge conferences.

Home Health Network
Staff of LeadingAge home health members will meet to discuss and provide input on policy, regulations, quality, new care models, and more. The Home Health Network will sometimes feature an outside speaker and always have a topic for discussion on news of the day. The group is open to anyone who works at a LeadingAge member organization interested in discussing home health care and more than one member of any organization is welcome to participate. The group will focus primarily on Medicare home health.

Hospice Network

The group is open to anyone who works at a LeadingAge member organization interested in discussing hospice care and more than one member of any organization is welcome to participate.

Housing Network
The Housing Network is an active listserv and weekly virtual meeting space for affordable housing members to learn and share with LeadingAge staff and each other about pressing issues and new resources. The Housing Network also includes workgroups on Services and Service Coordination, Resident Connectivity, Meal and Dining Programs, HUD Oversight, and the IWISH Demonstration.

Leaders of Color Network
The LeadingAge Leaders of Color (LoC) Network is a professional networking group for senior, mid-level, and emerging leaders of color employed by LeadingAge member organizations. The network is designed to support and facilitate career advancement in the field of aging services. It serves as a sounding board for members to share challenges and success stories related to negative work-related issues around race and racism, and as a forum for members to exchange resources and ideas and to hear experts discuss topics reflecting the expressed needs and interests of people of color within our field.

Life Plan Community Network
Each Life Plan Community Network meeting features a panel-led discussion on current hot topics of interest to LPCs. We also foster member discussion and connection on these issues, and members are encouraged to suggest future topics for the good of the group. After each meeting, enrolled members receive tools, resources, notes, slides and the full meeting recording.

Nursing Home Network
Each Nursing Home Network meeting features a brief presentation and Q&A with a guest speaker on current hot topics of interest to Nursing Homes. The guest speaker is followed by policy updates from LeadingAge policy experts with the rest of the call devoted to member discussion and interaction. A handout with pertinent resources is provided to members prior to each meeting, and an article summarizing the meeting is posted on the website and emailed to participants with the following month’s calendar invite.

PACE Network
The PACE Member Network meetings are open to members who currently operate, or who are interested in learning more about starting a PACE program. The PACE network advances conversations and learnings on PACE expansion, regulations, operations, and workforce best practices. The Network will sometimes feature an outside speaker and always have a topic for discussion on trending news. We encourage members to share opportunities and state developments on PACE policy.

Quality & Risk Management Network
The LeadingAge Quality & Risk Management Network is focused on defining meaningful quality and risk management reporting “standards” across the service continuum, supporting LeadingAge member organizations in their efforts to improve the quality of their services, and differentiate their programs and services through meaningful, transparent quality reporting.

Managed Care Solutions Network
The Managed Care Solutions Network will feature discussions and relevant presentations on hot topics related to Medicare Advantage, Medicaid managed care, and potentially impactful risk-based care models such as accountable care organizations. LeadingAge staff will provide updates on new regulation and legislation in these areas and their impact on providers who serve older adults enrolled in these programs. The network will also serve as a forum for members to raise current issues they are encountering and share solutions. The network is open to anyone who works at a LeadingAge member organization with an interest in these topics including leadership, clinical staff, financial/billing staff and others.

Technology Network
The LeadingAge Technology Network features updates from LeadingAge CAST team, including timely technology topics, tools, and resources developed by LeadingAge CAST for members. Frequently, the network’s quarterly virtual meeting features a presentation about an important technology topic or case study from a provider using technology and Q&A with the guest speaker(s). The rest of the meeting is devoted to member discussions, engagement, and interaction. A handout with pertinent resources is provided to members before, or after, each meeting.

Advisory Groups
LeadingAge convenes several formal advisory groups to offer expert advice and opinions on critical issues in our field. Advisory groups are led by national staff and participation is by invitation only. Most advisory groups are for provider members only, with the notable exception of the CAST Commission.
